Lloyd Harrison Elliott

Lloyd Harrison Elliott, age 78, of 768 Newbern Ave., formerly of 575 Steel St. in Asheboro died Friday, July 11, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr. Elliott was born December 6, 1929 in Asheboro, NC the son of Travis H. and Agnes Bunting Elliott. Mr. Elliott was a native of Randolph County, an Army Veteran of the Korean War and attended Oakhurst Baptist Church. Lloyd retired from Acme McCrary in Asheboro and was an avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting and gardening. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Rose "Dot" Allen Elliott and brother, Bob Elliott. He is survived by his daughter & her husband, Melodie & Steve Andrews of Asheboro; granddaughters; Laura and Mary Andrews; brothers: Sidney and Benson Elliott both of Asheboro. The funeral service will be held today, Sunday, July 13, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro with Dr. Rob Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro.
