Lisa Lamb Latham

Lisa Ann Prevost Lamb Latham, age 56, of Asheboro died Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at her home. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jesse Sell officiating. Mrs. Latham was a native of Randolph County and a 1972 graduate of Asheboro High School. She was a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist and served on the Randolph County Mental Health Board. She also served on the board of Randolph Alpha House and Mangum House. Lisa loved spending time with her animals and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Norma Pilkenton Prevost and grandparents, J. W. & Ottie Prevost and Bennie and Edna Pilkenton. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Jerome Latham; sister, Suzanne P. Bennett and her husband Stephen Bennett; niece, Jennifer Nance Hicks of Asheboro; nephew, John Nance of High Point. The family will receive friends after 3:00 pm on Saturday at First E&R United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall and other times at the home of Suzanne Bennett, 612 Parkview St., Asheboro. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Community Hospice, Dr. Betts, and Dr. McCarty for the care given to Lisa during her illness.
