Lindley Charles Kearns

Lindley Charles Kearns, age 70 of Asheboro, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024 at his home.

Charles was born on September 21, 1953 in Randolph County to Walter and Lena Gordon Kearns. Charles worked his whole life in textiles and furniture building here in Randolph County. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and neighbor. Charles enjoyed working on cars and was a self-taught mechanic. He also enjoyed working outside and mowing his yard and others around. Most of all, Charles loved and adored his grandchildren that were truly the light of his life. In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his sister, Donese Brigman.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Brenda P. Kearns of the home; daughter, Sabrina Bailey (Brian) of Smithfield; grandchildren, Ethan Simmons (Betty) of Hampton, VA, Natalie Simmons of Smithfield; step grandchildren, Joseph and Richard Martin of Fuquay Varina; sister, Linda Richardson; and his fur babies, Bobo and Biscuit.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro.
