Linda Maxine Canipe Prevatte

Linda Maxine Canipe Prevatte, age 73, of Asheboro died Saturday, February 20, 2021 at her home. She was born April 16, 1947, the daughter of Everette Sidney and Maxine Allred Canipe. She was a 1965 graduate of Asheboro High School and Gaston County Nursing School in Shelby, NC. She retired in 2006 from Randolph Hospital, now Randolph Health, after 39 years. Linda enjoyed eating out with friends at brunch and dinner, going to the movies, watching soap operas, and most of all spending time with family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Bradley “Brad” Prevatte. She is survived by her son, Doug Prevatte and his wife Misti of Asheboro, Grandson, Dylan Prevatte; and her special cousins, Betty And JoAnn. Mrs. Prevatte will lie in repose at Pugh Funeral Home prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:30 PM on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. Funeral services will follow at 2.00 PM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bruce Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro.
