Linda Faye Ledwell

Linda Faye Price Ledwell, age 65, of 151 Ledwell Drive, Candor died Friday, February 4, 2011 at NC Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem. Mrs. Ledwell was born September 24, 1945 in Bladenboro, NC the daughter of Samuel Victor and Evelina Smith Price. Mrs. Ledwell was formerly employed with Candor Hosiery Mill of Candor and attended Destination Heaven Ministries of Sophia. She was a perfect example of God's love, never met a stranger and always found the good in everyone. She was preceded in death by her father; Samuel Victor Price and her son; Matthew Ray Leggett. She is survived by her husband: Richard Ledwell, five daughters: Rebecca Leggett Scott of Raeford, Jennifer Leggett Banfield of Fayetteville, Donna Lee of Southern Pines, Patty Ledwell of Seagrove, Dema Cranford of Troy, two sons: Robert Hill of Asheboro, John Ledwell of Charleston, SC, 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; mother; Evelina Smith Price of Trinity, four sisters: Martha Price Toler of Thomasville, Gail Snyder of Archdale, Patsy Daniels of Roxboro, Victoria Smith of Trinity, and two brothers: Samuel Price of Thomasville and Timothy Price of Trinity, The family will receive friends Monday, February 7, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro and other times at the home of her mother; Evelina Price, 2820 Refuge Church Drive, Trinity, NC 27370. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Bruno Wolf officiating. Burial will follow in Suggs Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Star.
