Linda Huffman

Linda Huffman, age 63, of 715 Branson Mill Road, Randleman died Friday, July 2, 2010 at her home. Linda was a native of Robbins and retired operator from BellSouth of Greensboro. She was a Telephone Company Pioneer. She enjoyed line dancing, country music and NASCAR, particularly her favorite driver Kyle Petty. She was devoted to her cats: Buddy, Romeo, Juliet, Kit and Einstein. She is preceded in death by one brother: Leonard Hemphill, one sister: Frances and her mother: Ruthie Mae Woods Hemphill. She is survived by: one brother: Lester Hemphill of Liberty, NC; co-worker and friend, Cathy Robbins of Greensboro, NC; nephew, Duane Talley of New Orleans, LA; niece: Tanyia Altamuro of Davie, FL; and cousin: Margaret Cox of Randleman, NC. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 6, 2010 from 9:30-10:30 AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Richard Hedgecock officiating. Burial will be in Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park, Julian.
