Linda Lou Henley

Linda Lou Wood Henley, age 73, of Asheboro died Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Randolph Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Bouldin officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park. Mrs. Henley was a native of Randolph County and was a homemaker. Linda loved to make crafts, was an excellent cook, and enjoyed spending time with her loving grandchildren. She loved working with her hands, sewing, painting, and tending to her flowers. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Philip M. Henley; son, Philip Erik Henley of Asheboro; daughters Holly Elizabeth Preslar of Seagrove, Dawn Renee Hodgin of Franklinville; grandchildren, Josh Hodgin and his wife Beth, Justin Hodgin, Megan Hodgin, Christian Preslar; Jordan Preslar, Arden Preslar, Lucas Henley, Jonah Henley; great grandchildren, Zackary Hodgin, Edward James "E.J." Carter; and brother, Danny Wood of Asheboro. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
