Lillie Frances Nance

Lillie Frances Stinson Nance, age 82, of Asheboro died Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Nance was born April 15, 1934 in Goldston to Marvin Durham and Mary Catherine (Benner) Stinson. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Nance was a loving wife and amazing mom and grandma. She is survived by her husband, John Talmadge Nance, sons, Richard Nance and wife Cindy of Reston, VA, John T. Nance and wife Donna of Asheboro; daughter, Carol Nance Lewallen and husband Robert C. Lewallen, Jr. of Winterville; grandchildren, Scott Nance of Reston, VA, Isley Lewallen of Greenville, NC, Patrick Nance of New York City, NY, Jacob Nance of Asheboro; sisters, Mildred Power and husband Ed of Greensboro, Helen Stinson of Greensboro, Lula Payne of North Wilkesboro, Goldie York and husband Vaughn of Staley and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, November 4, 2016 from 11:30 – 1:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ted York officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
