Esther Hancock Hooker

Lillie Esther Hancock Hooker, age 85, of Asheboro died Friday, August 3, 2012 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alvin Brooks and Pastor David Mercadante officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park. Mrs. Hooker was a native of Randolph County and was retired from Burlington Mills after 32 years of service. She attended Crestview Wesleyan Church and was preceded in death by her husband J.D. Hooker. She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Hooker Mendler of Asheboro, NC and grandson, Benjamin Lloyd Mendler of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 5, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
