Lillian Julia Harris Robbins, age 97, Asheboro died Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the Randolph Hospice House.
Mrs. Robbins was born in Randolph County on June 13, 1918 to Lolar and Julia Gordon Harris. She was retired from Bossong Hosiery after 40 years of service. Lillian was a charter member of Fayetteville Street Baptist Church which was formerly Ward Street Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School for many years. In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Fred Robbins.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Moffitt and husband Bobby of Asheboro; grandchildren, Julie Snowdon of Pine Bluff, Robbie Moffitt and wife Dawn of Asheboro; great grandchildren, Covey Snowdon, Ryan Aaron, Kirby Moffitt; Spencer Moffitt; great great grandchildren, Makayla and Easton Aaron; and sister, Mattie Coltrane of Asheboro.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro and other times at the home of her daughter, 1745 Sunny Lane, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Larry Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park.
