Lillian Webster Bristow Moody, age 93, of 407 Old Liberty Road, Asheboro died Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro. Mrs. Moody was born January 21, 1917 the daughter of Thomas William Monroe Webster and Mary Elizabeth Overman Webster. Mrs. Moody was a native of Alamance County and had worked at Burlington Mills and retired from Acme-McCrary. She was a member of Central Falls United Methodist Church but had attended Balfour Baptist Church for many years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands: William Nathaniel Bristow and Gurney Alfred Moody; two brothers: Delmar "Lefty" Webster and Bert Holt Webster. She is survived by one daughter: Billie B. Jarrett of Asheboro, son and his wife, Don and Martha Bristow of Asheboro, stepdaughter and her husband, Dot and Jack Henson of Siler City, NC and their children: Gregg, Ricky and Vicky; stepson and his wife, Jimmy and Faye Moody of Asheboro, and their children: Taina and Derrick; stepson and his wife, David and Lois Moody of Asheboro, and their children: Tony, Davie and Dianne; grandchildren: Donna and husband Joe Hobson of Asheboro and their children: Sarah Beth and husband Todd Campbell and Kathryn Hobson; Alan Jarrett of Asheboro and his children: Rebekah, Corbin and Cade; Laura and husband Bussy Beavers of Farmer and their children: Ethan, Drew and Wyatt; Mary Beth and husband Mack Utt of Hampstead, NC and their children: Will and John; Julia Bristow of Asheboro; Susan and Derrick Foltz of Monroe, NC ; and one great great grandchild: Jaxon Campbell. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, and other times at the home of her daughter: 601 Dixon Ave. Asheboro, Nc or the home of her son: 1517 Lake Country Drive Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Monday, September 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Balfour Baptist Church, 1644 North Fayetteville Street, Asheboro with Rev. Kenneth L. Reaves and Rev. C. Gene Booker officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
