Lex Jay Shirey

Lex Jay Shirey, age 72, of 3699 Mack Lineberry Rd., Franklinville died Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr. Shirey was a native of Brookville, PA and retired from Modern Tool Company. He is survived by three sons: Andrew J. Shirey of Kernersville, NC, Mark E. Shirey of Clover, SC, William K. Shirey of Franklinville, NC;one granddaughter, Sandra Shirey of Atwater, Ohio one sister: Mary Shirey of Shadyside, MD, and special friend Carol Fuquay of Kernersville, NC. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Memorials may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
