Lewis Franklin "Frank" Allmon, age 75, of Asheboro went to be his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the Randolph Hospice House.
Mr. Allmon was born in Asheboro on March 28, 1941 to Thad and Wilma Trotter Allmon, who preceded him in death. He was a member of Brower's Memorial Wesleyan Church and was retired from Energizer of Asheboro after 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Martha A. Allmon; daughters, Lora Russell and husband Charles of Level Cross, Donna Patton and husband Greg of Asheboro; son, Lane F. Allmon and wife Marie of Charlotte; grandchildren, Lauren Patton and Spencer Patton both of Asheboro, Brianne Allmon and Morgan Allmon both of Charlotte; sister, Betty Thomas and husband Kermit of Asheboro; brothers, Lee Allmon, James Allmon and wife Peggy, Fred Allmon, Bobby Allmon, Billy Allmon and wife Betty, and Johnny Allmon and wife Ruby all of Asheboro.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Allmon officiating. Entombment will follow in Randolph Memorial Park.
