Leticia Linas "Cherry" McNeal, age 67, of Pleasant Garden went to join the love of her life in Heaven, Charles "Billy" McNeal on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Mrs. McNeal was born June 19, 1953 the daughter of Severino Sesmundo Linas and Leonora Reyes Linas.
Cherry was a native of the Philippines and a generous, fun-loving lady. She loved to dance and was a long-time member of the Randleman Line Dancers. She was a dedicated and hard worker, employed for many years at Wrangler (now Kontoor Brands) in Greensboro. She enjoyed having coffee with friends and was the Spring Roll Champ of North Carolina!! She will be greatly missed by family and friends both here and in the Philippines. In addition to her father, Cherry is preceded in death by her Husband, Billy McNeal,siblings: Rodito Reyes Linas and Victorino Reyes Linas, step sons, Steve and Randy McNeal.
She is survived by one daughter: Monica (Jimmy) Plummer of Julian, NC, mother: Leanora Reyes Linas , granddaughter: Leah Jade Plummer; grandchildren, Zachary and Zoe Plummer; step daughters: Sharon Paschal (Richie) and Ramona Waldroup (Wayne); siblings: Danilo Reyes Linas, Severino Reyes Linas, Dante Reyes Linas, Maribel Linas Borinago "Bhabes" and Mario Reyes Linas; several in-laws, nieces and nephews and her best friend: Bonnie Smith.
The funeral will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro, in the Mausoleum Chapel with Letisha Adkins officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
