Lester Eugene Davis

Lester Eugene Davis, age 67, of Sophia passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at High Point Medical Center, High Point. Mr. Davis was born May 23, 1953 the son of Wilford and Lola Millikan Davis. Lester formerly owned and operated Davis Roofing, Inc.. He was a member of Marlboro Friends Meeting and served as an Elder. Lester was a Godly man, who dedicated his life to others. He enjoyed farming, taking walks and "piddling around". Most of all Lester loved being with his family. In addition to his parents, Lester is preceded in death by his siblings: Margaret Jo, Azel, Anthony, Stan, Wayne and Dale Davis. He is survived by his children: Tabatha Davis Sexton, Lauren Davis McManus (Clayton), Lester Eugene Davis, Jr., and Hollyn Davis Gragg (Cole); former spouse and loving mother, Sheila Blizard Sheffield; grandchildren: Kaylee Lynette Sexton, Austin Evan Rickard, Skylar Reece Sexton, Branson Davis Rickard, Cambridge Anne McManus, Emsley Elizabeth Himstedt and Colton David McManus; siblings: Judith Davis Gaster, Thomas "Tommy" Davis and Halcie Davis Small (Curtis); Many nephews, nieces and cousins. Lester will lie in repose Monday, January 25, 2021 from 1:00 - 5:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Marlboro Friends Meeting Cemetery, 2668 Marlboro Church Rd., Sophia with Minister Ray Luther officiating.
