Odis Leroy Hudson, age 77, of 4055 NC Hwy 134, Asheboro died Monday, July 27, 2009 in Asheboro.Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 2:00 pm at New Hope United Methodist Church with Pastor Kelly B. Ottinger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.Mr. Hudson was a native of Richmond County and a member of New Hope United Methodist Church. He operated Hudson's Service Station for 40 years and was preceded in death by his wife, Jerldean Ledwell Hudson. He is survived by his son, Donald Hudson and his wife Phyllis of Asheboro; daughter, Debra Hudson Batten and her husband Ted of Troy; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 29, 2009 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
