Leroy Arlindo Cox

Leroy Arlindo Cox, age 78, of Reidsville died Saturday, July 12, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Cox was born January 18, 1936 the son of Lester Lloyd and Mary Ann Humble Cox. Mr. Cox was a native of Randolph County and a member Bethel Friends Meeting. He held offices in the following organizations: Reidsville Elks Club, Reidsville Lions Club, Reidsville Jaycees, Reidsville Kiwanis Club, and was a charter member of the Rockingham County Gun Club. Leroy retired from First Citizens Bank in Reidsville as assistant vice president and the manager of installment loan department after 35 years of service. He enjoyed deer hunting and was a veteran of the US Navy. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers: Lloyd T. Cox, Lantford E. Cox and sister: Linnie Mae C. Wright. He is survived by his wife: Shelby Crickmore Cox; two sons: Larry Lester Cox and his wife, Holly P. Cox of Reidsville, Lee Edward Cox and his wife, Angela C. Cox of Reidsville, two granddaughters: Amber Lynn Cox and Taylor Michelle Cox; brother: Leonard J. Cox and his wife, Elaine Cox of Asheboro; sisters: Lottie C. Voncannnon and her husband, Gene of Asheboro and Linda Ann C. Parks and her husband, Jackie. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Bethel Friends Meeting Cemetery, 2519 Bethel Friends Road, Asheboro with Dr. Bob Medford officiating.
