Leroy Anthony Chen

Leroy Anthony Chen, age 68, of Asheboro went to be his Lord on Wednesday, February 10, 2016. Mr. Chen was born in Trinidad, West Indies on September 11, 1947. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvanie and Federick Chen and brother Frank Chen. Leroy was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Leroy loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and coaching soccer. He is survived by his wife, Vickie Chen; sons, Matthew Chen of Asheboro, Jason Chen of Connecticut; daughters, Maria, Nikki and Kimi of Trinidad; 4 grandchildren; brother, Dr. Gregory Chen of Trinidad. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 12:00-2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Cochran officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Memorial Gardens.
