Leo R. Ness III

Leo Robert "J.J." Ness, III, age 35, of 1101 Clearwater Ct., Asheboro died Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andrew Hurlburt and Rev. Junior Frank "Bucky" Davis officiating and with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Mr. Ness was a native of Randolph County and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was a 1993 graduate of North Moore High School and graduated from Randolph Community College in May 2010. J.J. was a member of Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church. He is survived by his wife, Ashleigh Rowe Ness; daughter, Lauren Ness of the home; sons, Austin Collins of Robbins, NC, Hunter Sheffield of Asheboro, NC; parents, Leo and Bonnie Ness of Robbins, NC; brothers, John Ness, Jacob Ness, and Josh Ness all of Robbins, NC; mother-in-law, Deborah Hutto Rowe of Biscoe, NC and father-in-law, John Rowe of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 15, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Memorials may be made to the Victory Junction Gang, 4500 Adams Way, Randleman, NC 27317 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
