Lendon Howard Scott, age 71, of Franklinville died Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.
Mr. Scott was born January 2, 1947 the son of Harvey and Polly Scott. Lendon was a native of Alamance County and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was the owner and retired from Service Tool and Manufacturing. Lendon grew up in the Lutheran Church and later attended Faith Temple Baptist Church. He was most happy when he spent time with his family. Lendon enjoyed fishing and had a green thumb with plants.
He is survived by his companion of 35 years, Jeannette Williamson of Asheboro; brother, Jimmy Scott (Doris) of Climax; nephew, Vincent Scott (Wendy), nieces Tammy Scott Dorman, Anita Scott Davis (Rad), and Crystal Scott Allen (Brent); sister, Joretta Scott Beasley of Burlington; nephew, Scott Beasley (Mandi) and niece Natalie Weatherford (Drew); great nephews and nieces: Nolan Dorman (Amber), Aaron Dorman, Lexie Dorman, Justice Whitt, Cruise Allen, Nova Allen, Ivy Davis, Piper Scott and Lendon Weatherford.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 10:00-11:30AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at Jimmy Scott, 2555 Jimmy Scott Rd., Climax, NC 27233.. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:30 in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kevin Rollins and Pastor Reginald Robbins officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro with military honors provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
