Leland Devern Engle

Leland Devern Engle, age 39, of 114 Willis Dr., Star died Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Mr. Engle was a native of Alvin, Texas and was formerly employed with Klaussner Furniture as a fork lift operator. He is survived by his daughter, Brianna Price of Greenwich, CT; parents, Vickie White and Willis Strider of Star, NC; sister, Lisa Rush and her husband Shaun of Asheboro, NC; brother, Billy Engle and his wife Mary of Troy, NC. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, 7811 Pisgah Covered Bridge Rd., Asheboro. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is assisting the family.
