Lee Roy Smith

Lee Roy Smith, age 78, of 447 W. Main St., Franklinville died Friday, May 20, 2011 at Randolph Hospital. No funeral services will be held. Mr. Smith was a native of Erie, PA and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was retired from Shell Oil Company and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Ada "Cookie" Smith of the home and 2 nephews in Redding, CA. Memorials may be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church Building Fund, 505 S. Park St., Asheboro, NC 27203. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is in charge of arrangements.
