Leai Dawn Lassiter

Leai "Dawn" Dicks Lassiter, age 60, of Randleman died Wednesday, October 9, 2019.

Dawn was a native of Randolph County. She was a free-spirited person with a strong will. She lived life on her terms and was self-described as a wild child. She loved the beach and animals, never abandoning a stray. Dawn's zest and spirit will be missed.

She is survived by her husband: Michael Mayo of Randleman; daughters: Angela Lassiter and husband Bradley Willson of Raleigh, and Alisha Lassiter of Randleman; father, Charles "Bill" Dicks. Dawn is preceded in death by her mother, Joy Lee McDonald Dicks.

The family will receive friends Monday, October 14, 2019 from 1:00 - 1:45 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel, with Pastor Johnny Miles officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
