Lawrence Gene Gatlin, age 55, formerly of Asheboro died Sunday, March 17, 2013 at UPAC Of High Point, High Point, NC. Mr. Gatlin was born January 22, 1958 in Asheboro, NC. the son of Thomas Lester and Clara Craven Gatlin. He was formerly employed at Ivey's Trucking in Randleman. Lawrence enjoyed studying gunsmith, engraving and law enforcement courses. He enjoyed playing the guitar, talking on his amateur radio and C-B. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by sister: Susan G. Beasley and husband Cleve Beasley of Asheboro, NC and brothers: Barry W. Gatlin and wife Audrey of Asheboro, NC, Charles E." Eddie" Gatlin and wife Annette of Little Rock, AR The graveside service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Kenneth L. Reaves officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
