Laura Rose Williams

Laura Rose Hurley Williams, age 86, of Asheboro died Monday, July 16, 2012 at the Randolph Hospice House. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Memorial Gardens, 3448 New Hope Church Road, Asheboro with Chaplain Tim Pheagin officiating. Mrs. Williams was born in Troy, NC on January 18, 1926 to Daniel Wade and Eugenia Ballard Hurley. In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her husband Robert Eugene Williams. Laura loved her spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Robert "Bob" Williams and his wife Marie of Asheboro, NC; grandson, James Williams of Asheboro, NC; and granddaughter, Julie Williams of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
