Laura Marie Mast Smith, age 31, of 185 Ole Wagon Trail, Star died Friday, July 3, 2009 at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill.A memorial service will be held at a later date at her home.Laura was a native of Randolph County and a 1995 graduate of Southwestern Randolph High School. She was a loving and devoted mother.She is survived by her husband, David Smith of the home; daughters, Shelby Marie Smith, Gracie Leigh Smith, and Kenzie Alexis Smith all of the home; father, Jonathan Mast of Jacksonville, FL; mother, Sharon Spencer and her husband Randall of Asheboro, NC; brothers, Chris Mast of Seagrove, NC, Willie Spencer of Asheboro, NC, Michael Spencer of Seagrove, NC; maternal grandparents, James and Amaryllis Camp of Star, NC; father-in-law, Ronnie Smith and his wife Karen of Biscoe, NC; mother-in-law, Linda Goodman and her husband Randy of Biscoe, NC.The family will receive friends on Monday, July 6, 2009 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
