Larry Edwin "Eddie" Suggs, age 61, of Asheboro died Monday, September 14, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 18, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Shook officiating.Mr. Suggs was a native of Randolph County and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was previously employed with Georgia Pacific for 28 years and was presently employed with Energizer. He is survived by his wife, Dolores "Dee" Suggs of the home; daughters, Tracy Scott of Randleman, NC, Jolene Blasko of Coleridge, NC; son, George Leonard and his wife Tiffanie of Ramseur, NC; 4 grandchildren; sister, Ann Trotter of Liberty, NC.The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.Memorials may be made to the Pediatric Oncology Program at Brenner Children's Hospital, 300 Medical Center Blvd., Winston-Salem, NC 27157.
