Larry McDonald

William Larry McDonald, age 66, of Asheboro died Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Randolph Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert E. Dowling officiating. Burial, with Masonic Rites, will follow in the Rehobeth United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. McDonald was a native of Asheboro and was a retired long distance truck driver. Larry was a member of Masonic Lodge #699, a former member of Oasis Shrine and a member of Shriners International. He is survived by his wife, Barbara McDonald; daughter, Leanna Tucker and her husband Carlton of Asheboro, NC; grandsons, Jeremy Tucker and Cody Tucker both of Asheboro, NC; brothers, Jeff McDonald and his wife Pam of Asheboro, NC, Mike McDonald of Asheboro, NC, Mitchell Clay McDonald, Jr. and his wife Petra of Pensacola, FL; and sisters, Linda Loggains and her husband Bobby of Asheboro, NC and Lois McMasters of Asheboro. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at his home.
