Lacy Junior Hoover

Lacy Junior Hoover, age 89, of Asheboro died Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Randolph Hospice House. Mr. Hoover was born November 9, 1925 to Ivy and Cova Hoover. He was a US Army veteran and attended Hilltop Baptist Church. Mr. Hoover was formerly employed by General Electric and Pugh Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Clark Hoover. He is survived by his wife, Doris Lewis Hoover; son, Jerry Hoover of Asheboro; brother, Roy Hoover of King; several nieces and nephews A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Oaklawn Cemetery, 737 Albemarle Road, Asheboro with Rev. Joe Brown officiating. The family request memorial contributions be made to Hill Top Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall Fund, 826 Crestview Church Rd., Asheboro, NC 27205 Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro is in charge of arrangements.
