Lacy Boyd Hayes

Lacy Boyd Hayes, age 82, of Asheboro died Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Randolph Hospital. Mr. Hayes was born in Randolph County to Burgess and Ossie Owens Hayes. Boyd served his country in the U.S. Army. He was the owner/operator of L.B. Hayes Contractors and Becky's of Asheboro. He is survived by his wife, Mary Munn Hayes; son, Chris Hayes of Asheboro; daughters, Sherri Tedder of Asheboro, Kim Hill of Erect; grandchildren, Hannah Hayes, Abby Hayes, Morgan Tedder, Jayce Tedder, Logan Hill, and Brodie Beal and husband Nicholas; and brother, Lendis Hayes of Erect. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 12:00-1:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
