Kio Khamphath

Kio Khamphath, age 86, of Troy passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.

Mr. Khamphath was born February 2, 1935 in Thailand. He was the son of the late Paht Khamphath and wife Kham.

He worked as a Farmer. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by children: Kam Khaleck, Oth Douangkham, Kheung Douangkham, Boun Douangkham, Chanh Douangkham, Sambounh Douangkham, Thongvanh Douangkham, and Khem Douangkham; 20 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mai Douangkham and children, Baht Douangkham and Puth Douangkham.

The family will recieve friends on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Pugh Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main St., Troy. A prayer service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel at Pugh Troy Funeral Home, with Rev. Ricardo Sanchez officiating. Burial will following at Stanley Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Albermarle.
