Kimrey Lei Smith

Kimrey Lei Smith, infant daughter of Justin Smith and Cassandra Johnson of Sophia passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 at her home.

Kimrey was born in Asheboro on November 9, 2018. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Delbert Smith, Alice Johnson, Gary Hill, and Joel Jordan.

In addition to her parents, Kimrey is survived by her brother, Regan Wesley-Ray Smith; sister, Layla Renee Smith; maternal grandmother, Tori Jordan and husband David of Asheboro, maternal grandfather, Danny Johnson and wife Tonya of Denton; paternal grandmother, Misti Vance and husband Ronnie of Sophia; great grandmother, Gladys Smith of Sophia; great grandparents, Henry and Ronnie Johnson of Sophia; great grandmother, Sandra Hill of Trinity; great grandmother, Rita Jordan of Asheboro; great grandparents, Glenda and Frankie Scarboro of Denton; and numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. A graveside service will follow on Wednesday at 3:30 pm in the Smyrna Grove Community Church Cemetery with Rev. Frank Barrett officiating.

Although Kimrey was only in our lives for a short time, she will forever live on in our hearts.
