Kevin Hicks

Johnny Kevin Hicks, age 47, of 3402 Carl Allred Rd., Franklinville died Sunday, October 10, 2010. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 3:00 pm at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Greg Arnold officiating. Mr. Hicks was born in Asheboro on November 8, 1962 to Eugene and Betty Lou Keye Hicks. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ken Hicks. Kevin was an avid football and NASCAR fan and loved the outdoors. He is survived by Vickie Strider of the home; sister, Susan H. Turner and her husband Gene of Asheboro; nephew, Gene Turner and his wife Sherry of Asheboro; nieces, Missy Hogan and her husband Eddie of the Steeds Community, Brittany Hicks of Wilmington; several great nieces and nephews; and his dog, Sam. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 from 1:30-2:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
