Kenneth Edward Cox

Kenneth Edward "Eddie" Cox, age 75, of Ramseur died Monday, March 31, 2014. Mr. Cox was born November 26, 1938 in Randolph County to Kenneth and Lucille Cox. Eddie was a friendly and compassionate man who never met a stranger. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time in his rocking chair on his front porch. He also loved going to church and loved his church family at Bailey's Grove Baptist Church. Eddie worked with the maintenance crew within Therapeutic Alternatives, Inc. Eddie resided with Therapeutic Alternatives, Inc. for 20 plus years. In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nancy Trogdon. Eddie was given compassionate care by Darlene Minter, Misty Scofield and all other supporting staff at the AVB in Ramseur, Pineview and Providence in Asheboro, and Forest Park in Randleman with Therapeutic Alternatives, Inc. Eddie held a special place in the heart of everyone with Therapeutic Alternatives, Inc. and he will be deeply missed by so many. The family will receive friends Friday, April 4, 2014 from 1:00 - 1:45 pm at Bailey's Grove Baptist Church, 1556 N. Fayetteville Street, Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at the church with Lay Minister Jeff Jarrett and Pastor Jonathan Shook officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro is assisting the family.
