Keith Edward Allen

Keith Edward Allen, age 55, of 937 Rambling Rd., Randleman died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in Boone, NC. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Barry L. Queen officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service and at other times at the home of Janet and Walter Luther, 5071 Pisgah Covered Bridge Rd., Asheboro. Mr. Allen was born in Randolph County on October 8, 1956 to Charles Edward and Treva Jane Davis Allen, who preceded him in death. He was a 1974 graduate of Asheboro High School. Keith was an avid outsdoorman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his sister, Janet Luther and her husband Walter F. Luther of Asheboro, NC; brothers, Rodney Allen of Asheboro, NC, Timothy W. Allen of Asheboro, NC; nieces, Ame Luther of Asheboro, NC, Hollie Luther of Asheboro, NC, Hayle McClellen and her husband Ian of Fort Collins, CO, Noelle Luther of Asheboro, NC; and his faithful dog, Bootsie. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the NC Wildlife Federation, P.O. Box 10626, Raleigh, NC 27605.
