Kathy Dawn Garner

Kathy Nance Garner, age 57, of Asheboro died Sunday, September 25, 2011 at High Point Regional Hospital, High Point. Ms. Nance was a native of Randolph County. Kathy was a graduate of Asheboro High School and Appalachian State University. She was retired from teaching at Seagrove Elementary School. She is survived by her son: Matthew Garner of Raleigh and daughter: Lauren Garner Welch and her husband, Stevie of Asheboro, grandson: Wyatt Michael Wood of Asheboro, parents: Donald And Ruth Nance of Asheboro and three sisters: Donna Nance, Rosemary Nance Hunt and Sue Nance King and her husband, Mark all of Asheboro, NC. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with David Garner officiating.
