Kathleen S. "Kitty" Yow, age 86, of 508 West Balfour Ave, Asheboro died Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.Mrs. Yow was born in the Jackson Creek Community of Randolph County. A member of the First United Methodist Church in Randleman, she had worked for Acme-McCrary Hosiery for 31 years, she then retired from Rampon Hosiery. She is survived by her husband of 62 years: Glen E. Yow, one daughter: Ginger Jordan and her husband Michael of Asheboro, NC, one son: Ronnie Yow and his wife Connie of Asheboro, NC, grandson, Brian Yow of Archdale, NC; granddaughter, Allison Jordan of Asheboro, NC; grandson, Andrew Jordan of Asheboro, NC; four step grandchildren, four great grandchildren, four sisters: Esther Davidson of Asheboro, NC, Alene Gallimore of Silver Valley, NC, Annie Mae Robbins of Asheboro, NC, Marie Freeman of Randleman, NC and one brother: Everette "Buck" Small of Asheboro, NC.The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Martha Buff-Welch officiating.
