Kathleen Annette Mothershed

Kathleen Annette Ostrander Mothershed, age 48, of Denton died Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Randolph Hospice House. Ms. Mothershed was a native of Chicago, IL. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and caring for her mother. Kathleen loved collecting snowmen and taking trips to Cherokee with her mother. She is survived by her son, James Robert "Bubba" Mothershed, III of Denton; daughter, Barbara Ann Mothershed; grandchildren, Dameon and Tierney Mothershed; mother, Betty Jane Ostrander; brother, Dallas Ostrander, III and wife Terrie; uncles, Michael Schrimsher and family, Bobby Schrimsher and family, Jerry Schrimsher and her extended family. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in New Hope Memorial Gardens.
