Kathleen Wallace Mauldin

Kathleen Wallace Mauldin, age 84, of Tara Plantation, Carthage, formerly of Troy, died Saturday, December 19, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Mauldin was born September 14, 1926 in Moore County, NC the daughter of Elliott and Ellan Barber Wallace. She was former textile employee. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clint Alex Mauldin, one son: C.A. Mauldin, siblings: Effie Wallace, Bill Wallace and Charlotte Wallace. She is survived by three sons: Mitchell (Betty) Mauldin of Troy, Frankie Mauldin of Troy and Tim Ray of Albemarle; one daughter: Ruby M Carrick of Mt. Gilead; siblings: Carter Wallace of Carthage, Dot Scarborough of Aberdeen, Norman Wallace of Carthage and Pearl Wallace of Pinehurst; 8 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, December 21, 2015 from 6 – 8 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy; other times at the home of Mitchell and Betty Mauldin, 130 Johnson Rd., Troy. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11:00 am at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy with Tony Sedberry officiating. Burial will be in Southside Cemetery, Troy.
