Kate Katherine Lamb

Kate Katherine "Kat" Lamb, age 87, of 1349 Oakland Ave, Asheboro died Friday, April 20, 2012 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. A native of Asheboro, Mrs. Lamb retired from Blue Bell Manufacturing. She attended Smyrna Grove Community Church and Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Franklin Lamb, Sr. She is survived by one daughter and her husband: Donna and Raymond Legendre of Labadieville, LA and one son: Frankie Lamb of Asheboro, NC, grandsons, Kenneth Lamb of Asheboro, NC and Raymond Legendre of Portland, OR; and great grandson, Cody Williams of Greensboro, NC The family will receive friends Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Monday, April 23rd at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Pastor Neil C. Poole officiating. Burial will follow in Smyrna Grove Community Church Cemetery, Asheboro.
