Karleen Horner Tutterow

Karleen Horner Tutterow, age 68, of 330 West Presnell Street, Apt 26, Asheboro died Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston- Salem. Mrs. Tutterow was retired from Klaussner Furniture Industries as a supervisor in the accounts receivable department. A long time member of Cross Road Baptist Church she maintained her strong faith throughout her long illness. Karleen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She is survived by her husband: Gene Tutterow, sons: Kelly Tutterow and his wife, Cindy of Bradenton, FL and Kris Tutterow and his wife, Dina of Asheboro, three grandchildren,: Zack Tutterow of Tallahassee, FL, Nicholas Tutterow of Bradenton, FL and Cali Tutterow of Asheboro; sister: Peggy H. Lloyd and her husband, Ervin of Asheboro, brother: Dr. Andrew Horner and his wife, Tammi of Suffork, VA and a special sister/cousin: Cathy Marion of Asheboro. A graveside service will be held Monday, October 8, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Oaklawn Cemetery, 737 Albemarle Road, Asheboro. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 7, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Christian's United Outreach Center (CUOC), PO Box 784, Asheboro, NC 27204.
