Judy Cox Yates

Judy Cox Yates, age 60, of 1539 Spero Rd., Asheboro died Friday, February 15, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Yates was born May 26, 1947 the daughter of Lewis Junior and Wynette (Breedlove) Cox. Mrs. Yates was a native of Randolph County, had worked at Salem Neckwear and was a member of Whitehall Evangelical Methodist Church of Randleman. She is survived by her husband: Charles R. Yates, one daughter: Ginger Atkins of Asheboro, NC and two sons: Mark Long of Seagrove, NC, C.T. Long of Denton, NC; one brother: Lewis Wayne Cox of Climax, NC; step daughter, Debbie Shaw of Denton, NC; Step Son, Chuck Yates of Randleman, NC; Step Son, Matthew Yates of Thomasville, NC; 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 6 step grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 17, 2008 from 7 to 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Monday, February 18, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Aaron Robbins officiating burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Hospice of Randolph County for their kindness and compassion during Judy's illness..
