Judy Ann Owens Pugh

Judy Ann Owens Pugh, age 71, of Franklinville died Monday, October 12, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Pugh was born in Kernersville, NC on August 5, 1944. Judy was formerly employed with Jockey International and attended Grays Chapel United Methodist Church. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, James Phillmore Pugh. Judy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and homemaker. She is survived by her daughter, Lorrie Pugh Duke and husband Eliot of Pleasant Garden; son, Dwayne Pugh and fiancé Deanna Lynette of Franklinville; 3 step children; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; mother, Lois Owens Jarvis; sisters, Kathy Owens and Vickie Keene both of Asheboro; brothers, Billy Owens and Bobby Owens both of Asheboro and Carl Owens of Randleman. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Grays Chapel United Methodist Church, 5056 N.C. Hwy 22 North, Franklinville with Rev. Alanda Harris officiating.
