Judy Mae Davis

ASHEBORO - As her family gathered around Judy went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Randolph Hospice House. She leaves behind her beloved husband and caregiver Kent L. Davis of Franklinville, her beautiful family that includes, two sons Kenneth "Jerod" Davis and wife Carol of Archdale, NC, Rev. Eric J. Davis and wife Stephaine of Hickory, NC. Three daughters Aundrea D. R. Greer and husband Charlie of Randleman, NC, Zondrea "Bug" Davis Garden and companion Greg Ludlum of Topsail Island, NC and Tondrea "Tink" Davis Leach and her husband Rolland of Jacksonville, NC. Thirteen Grandchildren, Eight Great-grandchildren, Two loving brothers Alwyn "Mickey" Currin and his wife Anna of Coleridge, NC, and Kinchum "KC" Currin and his wife Hilda of Sophia, NC. Also a niece and nephew that grew up in her home Sarah Currin York and husband Tim of Coleridge NC, and John "JD" Currin and wife Angie of Asheboro, NC. She is also survived by her brothers and sister-in-laws on the Davis side, along with many nieces and nephews from both sides. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Lewis Currin and Abney Thomas Currin of Franklinville, NC and one great-grand-child, Sadee Haithcock. She was born in Vance County and came to Randolph County as a child. She attended Grays Chapel High School and Randolph Community College, worked several years at Ramtex Inc. in Ramseur and Jockey International in Randleman until it's closing in 2000. She was a member of Whites Memorial Baptist Church and a sister in Christ of the Adult Women's Class where she leaves behind her wonderful friends. She has been a Cancer Warrior the last twelve years and the family would like to thank Doctor Peter Ennever and the staff at Moses Cone Regional Cancer Center in Greensboro and the staff of Med Cancer Center of High Point for the Gallant Fight they helped her wage. The family will receive friends at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Sunday, November 3, 2013. All other times at the family home on Walker Store Rd., Franklinville, NC. Services will be held at Whites Memorial Baptist Church at 11:00 am on Monday, November 4, 2013 by Rev. Jeff Joyce. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Project Sanctuary, P.O.
