Juanita Sibbett

Mildred "Juanita" Sibbett, 84, of Randleman passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014. She was born in St. Paul, North Carolina, on October 9, 1929, to Warren and Ruby Robinson. Ms. Sibbett and her late husband, Reverend Earl F. Sibbett, were involved in ministry in the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) for 60 years. She was a faithful pastor's wife, Founder and Director of the Randleman Church of God Daycare Center, as well as, a beloved member of her local community. Ms. Sibbett is survived by three children; Sharon Sibbett Baker and husband, Michael, of Atlanta, Georgia; Earl "Dickie" Francis Sibbett, Jr. and wife, Jodi, of Randleman; and Linda Sibbett Laughlin of Franklinville. Ms. Sibbett is also survived by seven grandchildren; Cricket Laughlin and wife, Sondra, of Asheboro; Tuanita Lindsey and husband, Kenneth, of Franklinville; Kysha Baker Winters and husband, Byron, of Cleveland, Tennessee; Brian Sibbett and wife, Ashley, of New Salem; Tara Jones of Randleman; Taylor Sibbett of Randleman; and Jordan Sibbett of Randleman. In addition, Ms. Sibbett is survived by ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 12:00-2:00pm with the memorial service immediately following at Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro, North Carolina. Officiants are Dr. Michael L. Baker, Administrative Bishop, North Georgia Church of God State Executive Office in Atlanta, GA.; Dr. Rodney S. Vickers, Senior Pastor of Azalea Garden Church of God in Virginia Beach, VA.; Drs. Paul F. and Debbie Lanier, Senior Pastors of Hope Community Church in Winston Salem, NC.; and Reverend Boyd Byerly, Senior Pastor of Sunset Avenue Church of God in Asheboro. Pallbearers are grandsons and family members: Brian Sibbett, Bryant Laughlin, Connor Sibbett, Brandon Dyer, Glen Sakamura, and Byron Winters. Entombment will convene after the service at Randolph Memorial Park. On behalf of the family, our heartfelt thanks are shared with everyone who has expressed condolences, thoughts and prayers.
