Juanita Cole Needham

Juanita Cole Needham, age 80, of Asheboro died Monday, July 16, 2012 at Randolph Hospital. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ronnie Chaney officiating. Burial will be in the Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Needham was born in Randolph County on August 29, 1931 to Everett Carl and Mamie Ritter Cole. She was employed in the textile industry for 50 years and was retired from Jockey International. In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her husbands' Thurman Chriscoe and Leon Needham and 1 brother and 2 sisters. Juanita was a private, self-sufficient, and strong willed lady. She is survived by her son, Charles Chriscoe and his wife Naomi of Asheboro, NC; daughters, Brenda James of Raleigh, NC, Pam Hucks and her husband David of Archdale, NC; grandchildren, David Chriscoe and his wife Michelle, Sherry Ledbetter and her husband Chris; great grandchildren, Courtney Chriscoe, Taylor Ledbetter, and Christopher Ledbetter, Jr.
