JR Henderson

Hubert Vance "JR" Henderson, Jr., age 63, of Asheboro died Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. Mr. Henderson was born August 21, 1951 in Mullins, SC to Hubert and Elizabeth Henderson. He was the owner of J R Automotive. JR enjoyed racing and fishing and loved his family and friends. In addition to his parents, JR was preceded in death by his grandson, Johnny Ray Henderson, brother, Toney Henderson and sisters, Joyce Johnson and Linda Marsh. He is survived by his sons, Toney Ray Henderson and wife Loveda of Asheboro, Johnny Vance Henderson and wife Cindy of Asheboro, Christopher Clifford Henderson and wife Penny of Roxboro; grandchildren, Amanda Henderson, Tanya Kenyon, Jenna Hawk, Christian Henderson and 8 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Pierce officiating.
