Joyce Cranford Mason

Joyce Cranford Mason, 71, born October 2, 1942, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 15, 2013. She is survived by her husband Rex Mason of their home on 731 Belmont Dr., High Point, NC 27263 and son Anthony Mason of Greensboro, NC. Brother, C.L. Cranford and his wife Emma of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Peggy Davis of Randleman, NC and Brenda Mason and her husband Paul of Mooresville, NC; and sister-in-law, Marie Shepherd and her husband Paul of Troy, NC. Joyce grew up in Asheboro. She smiled through life and loved to volunteer with Carolina Donor Service and Donate Life because her son Anthony received a liver transplant on June 1, 2000. She not only volunteered at Carolina Donor Service events with the family, but she and her husband Rex were Donate Life Ambassadors at three Drivers License Offices in High Point, Asheboro, and Troy, NC. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro.
