Joy Powers Kearns

Mrs. Joy Powers Kearns, age 102, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Randolph Hospice House. She would have celebrated her 103rd birthday on October 1, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harris W. Kearns and grandchildren, Sherron McCombs and Eric McCombs. Mrs. Kearns is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Cline and her husband Ed of Asheboro; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Powers and Betty Craven both of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 12:30-1:30PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Dr. John S. Rogers and Dr. Scotty Carpenter officiating.
