Josie Anne Ramirez

Josie Anne Ramirez, age 22, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 31, 2023.

Josie was born in Nashville, Tennessee and was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, and friend to all who knew her.  To her siblings, she was always there for them, and at times, being their voice and sticking up for them when needed.  She was always the one who would help take care of anyone, whether they be family or friend.  She had a caring nature and was kindhearted to all, she would love to help cook and clean with her mother and would always make sure no one went hungry.  Josie was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony Pineda.

Josie is survived by her mother, Olivia Pineda Santiago and stepfather, Rene Ibarra; father, Manuel Morales Torres; son, Ruby Antonio Ramirez; siblings, Connie Pineda, Adrian Jose Ramirez, William Pineda, Adan Ibarra, and Robert Lee McWhorter; and various aunts and uncles.  

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 1:00-5:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro.

Josie Anne Ramírez, de 22 años, falleció inesperadamente el domingo 31 de diciembre de 2023. 

Josie nació en Nashville, Tennessee y fue una madre, hija, hermana y amiga increíble para todos los que la conocieron. Para sus hermanos, ella siempre estaba ahí para ellos y, a veces, era su voz y los defendía cuando era necesario. Ella siempre era la que ayudaba a cuidar a cualquiera, ya fuera familiar o amigo. Tenía una naturaleza cariñosa y era bondadosa con todos, le encantaba ayudar a cocinar y limpiar con su madre y siempre se aseguraba de que nadie pasara hambre. Josie fue precedida en la muerte por su hermano, Anthony Pineda. 

Josie le sobreviven su madre, Olivia Pineda Santiago y su padrastro, René Ibarra; padre, Manuel Morales Torres; hijo, Ruby Antonio Ramírez; hermanos, Connie Pineda, Adrián José Ramírez, William Pineda, Adán Ibarra y Robert Lee McWhorter; y varias tías y tíos. 

La familia recibirá a sus amigos el sábado 13 de enero de 2024 de 1:00 a 5:00 pm en Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue en Asheboro.
